I’m Tonya Williams, the proud owner of TKW Bookkeeping Solutions.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

I worked in technology and finance for over twenty years. It taught me that good organization was one of the keys to running a successful enterprise. I also had a passion for helping small businesses to excel. Therefore, I decided to start an accounting firm focusing on deep cleaning clients’ books.

Since setting up my company a year ago, I’ve been using proven systems that have saved me time and money. I even pass on my secret sauce to clients during meetings. As a people person, I love hearing about my client’s goals and how I can support their growth stories.

I start by asking them, ‘How much better can you think when you’re not worried about the financial state of your company?’ (then, I get to work).

Organization is Key

I believe that maintaining organizational skills creates peace of mind and unlocks the potential to automate, leading to increased revenue. Therefore I pay attention to detail, and l believe what sets me apart is my specialist knowledge. Applying the wisdom I’ve imbibed from specific industries builds trust with clients.

Strengths V/s. Weakness

I attribute my success to knowing my strengths and weaknesses. In the areas I’m weak, I strive to learn from the best, or I delegate the task to someone with acumen. I use my strong points in my business and teach my team to follow suit. As a result, knowing that I’m delivering quality work is rewarding, but the greatest satisfaction is receiving kudos from clients.

When I’m not analyzing financial statements, I love to read and go on vacation. I also enjoy dates with my spouse, attending my children’s sports events, and doing philanthropic work.

I’ve started distributing gifts to help graduating high schools students attending college or embarking on a trade. My goal for the future is to provide scholarships to young people transitioning from high school to a trade.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
